PAD's internship program is structured as an introduction to professional practice, bringing students into live project work, studio collaboration, and direct exposure to how design decisions are carried through coordination and delivery.
The focus is on hands-on participation rather than observation, with mentorship from the team and day-to-day involvement in the rhythm of the studio.

1. What is the internship format?
The program is set up as an academic internship aligned with curriculum requirements and intended for students seeking structured studio exposure.
2. What are the working hours?
The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
3. Will I receive compensation or academic credit?
PAD offers a stipend of AED 500 per month in Dubai and INR 5,000 per month in India. The internship is also intended to sit alongside academic internship requirements where institutional credit is needed.
4. Do you consider international applicants?
Yes. For the Dubai track, interns must hold a valid UAE residence visa. Kochi intake follows the applicable local eligibility requirements.
5. What do I need before joining?
Applicants should submit a portfolio and CV, provide a signed bonafide letter from their educational institution, and bring their own laptop for studio work.
6. What software do I need?
Interns should have student versions of Autodesk AEC Collection, Trimble SketchUp Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape. PAD reimburses the student subscription costs for the required software stack.
7. Do interns arrange their own travel?
Yes. Interns are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
